The Group’s first tassel was born as an industrial entity that specializes in PCB Assembly and electronic hi-tech systems production. In 1988 Elem is brought under control of the holding. The quality of the production process, performing within strict anti-static environments with painstaking temperature and humidity controls, is certified following International standards and is guaranteed by the most modern automatic testing systems (ATE).

As a result of vast investments into research and development within its first decade, Viasat produces innovative satellite prototypes, thus bringing into the consumer sectors technologies once exclusive to military use. By 1999 the Operations Center is created to provide support and services to the satellite technology on the retail market. Viasat develops a sales network covering the entire national territory with over 1,800 distribution points and imposes itself onto the market as a synonym of satellite security and protection for the automobile as well as the passenger.

Born out of the Olivetti Group to bring vehicle tracking products and services to businesses based on satellite and mobile phone technology. Movitrack also creates a research and development department aimed at special projects within the automotive world, namely in trafficinformation and car-sharing for several high profile municipalities.
